Dark MOFO
Dark MOFO is an annual event organised and sponsored by MONA and Hobart City Council. The event transpires all over the CBD and surrounding areas but is concentrated in the city. It features light shows and awe-inspiring displays of artwork, normally thought provoking. As well as this, it features acts and gigs by various artists and a two-weekend long feast on Macquarie Point. The event attracts 500,000 people to Tasmania and for good reason. If you’re in Hobart during Dark Mofo, it is a must do event.
